
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 7 (MExN): The Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) and the Tenyimi People’s Organisation (TPO) have taken serious note of the “unfortunate incident” that took place at Lamhainamdi village and Kiyevi village area.
A joint statement from the two organisations urged both the parties to maintain calm and restrain from violence. CNTC and TPO held an emergency meeting at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur on November 7 and termed the incident as unfortunate. It appealed both the parties to give chance to resolve the issue amicably. They further appealed to the State Government to “intervene at this stage to avoid further bloodshed.”
