Kohima, December 2 (MExN): All existing coaching centres in Nagaland have been directed to register under the newly approved ‘Guidelines for Registration and Regulation of Coaching Centres 2025’ within three months.

Centres have been instructed to submit their registration applications through the Deputy Commissioner of their respective districts within three months from the date of the notification issued on December 2.

The guidelines, approved by the State Cabinet on November 26, are aimed at providing better guidance and assistance to students across study programmes, competitive examinations, and academic support, the Department of Higher Education stated.

According to the department, the guidelines set minimum standards for running coaching centres and ensure that the interests of students are safeguarded. They also encourage centres to focus on curricular activities, holistic student development, career guidance, and psychological counselling to promote students’ overall well-being.

The full guidelines are available on the Department of Higher Education website: [https://highereducation.nagaland.gov.in/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/COACHING-GUIDELINES.pdf](https://highereducation.nagaland.gov.in/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/COACHING-GUIDELINES.pdf).

For queries, centres may contact the Nodal Officer, Vetanule Demo, at +91 8974870900, the notification added.
