Peren, September 17 (MExN): ‘Coffee Hill Top’ for entrepreneurs under the flagship of Land Resources Development (LRD), Nagaland to mark the 75th anniversary of India's Independence (Azadika Amrit Mahotsav) was inaugurated at Peren town by ADC, Mhathung Tsanglao, NCS on September 17.

The ADC Peren expressed gratitude to the department for the initiative, training and placement of local entrepreneurship in coffee plantation and products, stated a DIPR report. Peren LRD DPO, Alemla Aier informed that the Department has signed MoU for 30 years with Noble Cause Coffee Company, Cape Town, South Africa and it has the vision to develop 50000 hectares coffee plantation by 2030.

The inaugural programme was attended by government officials including Additional Superintendent of Police, Peren and different NGOs. Launching machine for coffee, show of indigenous products of a unique flavour and diet followed by interaction were the highlights of the programme.
