Longleng, February 9 (MExN): The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Tangha village under Longleng district conducted the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) meeting, where a diverse group of participants tackled pressing matters on February 8.
A DIPR report stated that Dr Samuel Akho Konyak P, NCS, EAC Longleng Hq & Additional Charge Yongnyah EAC, serving as the Deputy Commissioner’s representative, chaired the meeting, emphasising the committee's dedication to holistic development. Dr Suresh Bera, i/c Principal, JNV Longleng, raised issues and challenges faced by the school, adding depth to the comprehensive discussions.
Er Nothongol Kera, EE (PHED) Longleng addressed on water scarcity issues within the Vidyalaya. Infrastructure concerns, including road-related issues, saw insights from Er SB Angh, EE (PWD). Contributions to plans for increasing JNV Selection Test registrations were made by Kihovi Sema, ADEO, and Dr Henshet Phom, Vice Principal, Yingli College. SDO (Electrical) addressed measures for enhanced electricity facilities, and Dy CMO, Dr. Philip Kent, assured routine quarterly medical visits.
During the meeting, Tangha Village Council and parents representatives pledged full cooperation.
“This collective commitment across medical, educational, and community dimensions showcased a unified effort to overcome challenges at JNV Longleng,” the DIPR report added.
