College students get hands on training on e-waste management

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 26 (MExN): Eco Club of Unity College in collaboration with e-circle Dimapur organized a one-day e-waste management training at the campus on February 25, 2020.
During the training, Soweteii Letro and Bendangwala of e-circle gave a hands on training and practical demonstration on how to manage electronic waste generated from our homes.
They also emphasized on the importance of recycling and proper disposal of e-waste to reduce pollution and raise awareness on the hazardous impact of e-waste on humans and its surroundings.
The training was held in four sessions with various activities for the students focusing on the theme of “rethink, reuse and recycle”. The training concluded with students coming up with original and innovative ideas to spread the message of e-waste management, a press release informed.
