Dimapur, October 23 (MExN): Under the theme ‘Bridging minds, building meaning’, the Departments of Philosophy of Salesian College of Higher Education and Dimapur Government College jointly organised a ‘Dialogue’ at DGC auditorium on October 23.
The session facilitated an engaging discussion between faculty members and students from both institutions on two key topics, a press release stated.
The first topic, ‘Students in the Age of Technology and AI, explored the changing educational landscape driven by technology. Participants deliberated on the benefits as well as the associated challenges of these advancements.
The second topic focused on 'The Relevance of Philosophy Today', examining its role in fostering critical engagement with contemporary issues.
The discussion underscored the need to understand and engage with philosophy at a fundamental level to make the discipline more meaningful.
