Collegiate Science Fest kicks off at SJC

Kohima, February 11 (MExN): St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, Department of Science, organized a two day Eureka Science Fest on February 11 and 12 with the theme ‘Eureka’ – ‘I have found it’!   Emmanuel College, Kohima Science College and Model Christian College along with the host college participated. Colonel Anjani Kumar, Commanding Officer, MAHAR Regiment graced the inaugural function as the Chief Guest. In his speech said “College is the best time in a person’s life and it should be utilized to the fullest”.

  The main aim of the fest is to bring radical and innovative ideas in the field of education to make it more interesting and instructive. Various competitions like Science exhibition, Debate, Quiz, Dance, Group song, etc. were displayed by the participants to rekindle the spark of education.   The day ended with Flip Flop competition and the participants look forward to another exciting day.
