Dimapur, March 19 (MExN): C Edge College held its 2nd Commencement Day for its Graduating Class of 2016 on March 18, with Asangba Chuba, IAS, Commissioner of Taxes as the Commencement Speaker. He shared with the students his experiences which had helped him achieved by disclosing three attitudinal characteristics which he called 3D’s – determination, dedication and discipline. He mentioned three tools which will help one to be successful – time, technology and communication. He also released the Yearbook for the Class of 2016. Satem Lemtur, Pastor of Naga United Village Ao Baptist Arogo offered the prayer. This year’s Champion Star Attendance Award was given to Ashiirhii Athia of VI Semester BA, which was presided over by Dr. Chubatola Aier, Principal. The Star Attendance Awardees and the Laurel Awardees too were also announced and awarded. The opening address along with the Pledge of Allegiance was chaired by Er. Moa Aier, President of the College. The Reading of the Graduating Student‘s name was presided over by the Academic Dean, Daisy Shitio. The Student Representative Speakers were Vesatalu Vero from IV Semester BA and Silenthong from VI Semester BA. The entire event was compeered by Achila Yimchunger of II Semester BA. The music and song for the Processional March of the Graduating Class was presented by Tayongmongla of II Semester BA and Kusayi of IV Semester BA. Vote of Thanks and Closing was concluded by Ms. Alice Donna, Assistant Professor.
