Nagaland Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, Minister Neiba Kronu today said that the state government in its meeting with ENPO, CNTC and TPO on October 20 last, has decided to form a committee to study women reservation matter in the ULBs. To be headed by Chief Secretary, the Committee will have two women representatives, which includes Dr Rosemary Dzüvichü and Sotsula, Secretary, Science & Technology Department. “Now, it is time for us to discuss the issue together, sit across the table and take the decision together,” Kronu said while talking to media persons here. “We all have concern about women reservation. Women participation everywhere is important. So we are briefing the civil societies, the tribal Hohos from time to time and slowly, now, we are bringing them together,” he said.
