Mokokchung, February 16 (MExN): A ‘common platform’ for the two intending candidates of 23 Impur Assembly Constituency was held today at Mopungchuket village, organized by the Mopungchuket Senso Mungdang. Both candidates were given 20 minutes each to share their visions and solicit the voters’ support.
NDPP candidate from the constituency TN Mannen and NPF candidate Dr. Imtiwapang Aier both addressed the huge public gathering that was held at the village square. The candidates’ speeches were followed by short speeches delivered by the village council chairmen of Sungratsu and Longjang villages.
Earlier, council chairman of Mopungchuket village delivered the welcome address. The proceedings of the programme was led by the office bearers of the Mopungchuket Senso Mungdang.
