Kohima, September 15 (MExN): In its endeavour to uplift villages in remote areas of Nagaland, the 164 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) (Home & Hearth) Naga, constructed a Village Community Hall at Natsami Village, Kiphire. According to a press release from the Press Information Bureau (Defence Wing), the construction was made as part of its ongoing Military Civic Action programme under Operation Sadbhavana, under the aegis of HQ 3 Corps. During the inauguration ceremony, Village Council Chairman acknowledged the importance of Community Hall for the development of the village and expressed appreciation for the effort taken by 164 Infantry Battalion (TA) in spreading welfare projects. The presentation ceremony was attended by Village Management committee, village elders, GBs, Chairman and unit officer, JCOs & OR of 164 TA (Naga).
