Commuting dispruted in Longkhim Area

Dimapur, January 25 (MExN): Vehicular movements in Longkhim Sub-division in Tuensang District will remain effected due to failure of a steel bridge between Mangakhi Village and New Sangsamong Village.

  A press notification from Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang, Alem Jongshi citing report from Executuve Engineer, PWD NH-III said that while emergency restoration work started, it would take two days to complete the same.   In this connection, the general public as well as operators of Taxis, Night Buses, and trucks are informed not to ply on the road with effect from January 26-27. The DC further suggested the commuters to take alternative route- Longsa-Shuruhoto-Longkhim Road- till the restoration is completed.
