P Paiwang Konyak inspects CHC Satakha and construction of District Hospital Zunheboto on June 24.

Kohima, June 24 (MExN): Nagaland Health & Family Welfare Minister, P Paiwang Konyak today asserted that land donors tying up with conditions have become a hurdle for the government to develop any project within stipulated time.
The Minister who is on second phase state wide tour as part of Viksit Nagaland for Viksit Bharat stated this on June 14 during the visit to the Community Health Centre building at Satakha, under Zunheboto district which was recently upgraded.
Post inspection of the CHC building, Paiwang informed the land donors to consider donating land for construction of hospitals as a noble act of humanity and selflessness.
While assuring of his commitment to fully develop the CHC, he sought cooperation from the land donors and the citizens stating that once the CHC infrastructure is fully completed, it can become a model CHC.
Paiwang further assured that once the CHC is made fully functional, the strength of health workers will be strengthened.
The Minister also urged the civil organization leaders to guide the citizens to get registered with CMHIS and Ayushman Bharat ensuring that no individual is deprived of free access to health care.
The Minister also emphasised on cancellation of pharmacies that do not possess legal documents or being operated by unqualified pharmacies stating that “cancellation will continue as per the law”.
Marking his visit, Paiwang also planted a tree sapling at CHC Satakha.
He also visited PHC Satakha and interacted with the patients, inspected the drug store, laboratory etc.
Meanwhile, the minister urged the BJP Party workers of Zunheboto district to participate and continue to support the government to achieve the Prime Minister of India’s vision of a “Viksit Nagaland for Viksit Bharat”.
The Minister also inspected the on-going new construction work of District Hospital Zunheboto along with the local representative and Advisor Food & Civil Supplies KT Sukhalu.
Paiwang was accompanied by the secretary, Principal Director and host of senior officials from the department of H&FW.
