Chotisuh Sazo Nagaland Legislative Assembly Speaker Chotisuh Sazo has expressed shock to hear of the “sad and tragic” demise of Rangtalak Rangkau, elder brother of Nagaland Chief Minister, T.R. Zeliang, who passed away on August 24 at Jalukie. Late Rangkau led a life of simplicity and dedication to serve the people and in his death the Zeliangrong people has lost a “dedicated and honest leader”, Sazo stated in a condolence message. Extending heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family, Sazo prayed that the Almighty God would grant them courage and wisdom to withstand the irreparable loss.   PB Acharya Nagaland Governor PB Acharya has expressed grief to learn of the demise of Rangtalak Rangkau. Conveying heartfelt condolences to Chief Minister TR Zeliang, Acharya prayed to the Almighty to grant the bereaved family strength to bear the irreparable loss. “May the departed soul rest in peace,” the message concluded.   Rongmei Council Nagaland The Rongmei Council Nagaland has expressed “deep shock and sorrow” at the demise of Rangtalak Rangkau. “We remember Associate pastor late Rangtalak Rangkau whose missionary zeal and dedication has comforted many spiritually poor and has equipped, encouraged and energized the Christians in the vineyard of his master and God,” the Council stated in a condolence message. Extending deepest condolences to the bereaved family members at this hour of grief, the Council prayed that the Almighty give them solace and strength to overcome the pain and loss.   TSUD The Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur mourned the demise of Rangtalak Rangkau. Extending condolences, the TSUD prayed for strength for the bereaved family in this time of grief and also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
