
Dimapur, April 8 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) has mourned the demise of Huveto Ciero (Kilonser) NSCN/GPRN on April 6. Huveto from Porba village joined the 'Naga National Movement' on April 10, 1998, the MIP of NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) stated in a press note. “A soft spoken individual, a gentlemen of very few words yet, very vociferous and defensive, when it comes to National Integrity, Chivalry and Honour; the late leader who did earned himself a spot in the high echelon of 'Senior Naga Nationalists' had served the Nation under various capacities for requisite and competent Nation building, and who besides being a senior Kilonser was also holding additional charge of Chairman (Chakhesang Region) till his last breath,” it stated. In the condolence message, it stated that his departure comes as a “devastating blow to our brotherhood and for sure it will be a rude shock to family members and loved ones and we venerate and beseech for Divine and Heavenly Intervention for comforts and solace during their times of grief.”
