Condolences on demise of Kakuto Shohe

Kohima, February 9 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has mourned the demise of Kakuto Shohe, Secretary CEB, NDPP who passed away February 9 at Guwahati, Assam. 

‘As a political activist, Kakuto Shohe devoted his career in the service of the people from his time in the NPF and till his death. As an active member of the NDPP though for a brief period, Kakuto took up all responsibilities bestowed upon him with dedication and enthusiasm. In his demise not just the NDPP family but the Nagas as a whole have lost a great leader whose service and devotion will be missed dearly,’ Chingwang Konyak, President, NDPP stated in a condolence message. 

“I, along with my wife and the rank and file of the NDPP convey our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and pray that almighty God grant strength and solace to bear the immeasurable loss. May the departed soul rest in peace!” he added. 

The Minister for Roads & Bridges, Government of Nagaland, G Kaito Aye in his condolence note said that Kakuto Shohe was more than just a colleague or acquaintance; he was someone who touched the hearts of everyone he met. 

“While we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the profound impact he had on all of us. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time,” Aye stated. 

“I want to express my gratitude for having had the privilege of knowing him and I will always be grateful for the time we shared together. I offer my deepest sympathy and support to the family and loved ones, know that you are not alone in your grief, and that he will forever be remembered with love and admiration,” he added.
