Condolences pour in for former Minister C Noklem

Dimapur, March 8 (MExN): Various leaders and organizations have mourned the demise of C Noklem Konyak, Ex-MLA and former Minister who breathed his last in Dimapur on March 8.

 

Deputy CM: “Noklem was an efficient legislator committed to the welfare of the people of the state. He was also vocal in raising issues pertaining to uplifting and development of under-developed areas in either ways as Minister or as a public leader,” read a condolence message from Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton. He on behalf of the state BJP legislators conveyed condolences to the family and prayed for the departed soul to find eternal peace.

 

NDPP: Chingwang Konyak, President of NDPP said he had seen the late leader’s social involvement “since he was young and had watched his social involvement from his college days.”


“His concern for our Eastern Naga people is legendary,” added Konyak in a condolence message. The rank and file of the NDPP conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

 

Ex-PAN:  The Ex-PAN in a condolence said he was a sincere, efficient and dedicated leader and a loving husband and father. “His death is not only a loss to his family members and his constituency but also a loss to the Naga people,” said the message. The Ex-PAN prayed that God give solace and comfort to the bereaved family members and for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
