Congress expresses sorrow

Kohima, November 15 (MExN): The Kohima District Congress Committee (KDCC) has expressed sorrow at the demise of Medose Richa, president, 14th Southern Angami ACCC on November 15 in Kohima due to illness. A condolence message from Abalie Medoze, general secretary (Admn), KDCC informed that Late Medose Richa after his retirement from government service joined politics and was a stern congressman. “When the party was at its worse, with clear and strong decisions he led the party, particularly the 14th Southern Angami constituency to its present position which the congress will never forget,” it stated. Admitting that the party has lost one of its strong leaders, KDCC prayed to God to give strength and solace to the bereaved family.  

In a separate condolence note, NPCC president, K. Therie expressed shock at the death of Medose Richa, president, 14th Southern Angami ACCC and former village council chairman, Jakhama. “He was a hardcore Congress supporter and a dedicated party worker, sincere in executing the tasks he was entrusted. Affable and jolly in nature, Late Medose had a special concern for society and was also a strong proponent of environment protection and Climate Change,” Therie stated. The NPCC president on behalf of all rank and file of the Congress party further conveyed deepest condolences to the children and relatives of the deceased.
