DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 7 (MExN): The Nagaland State Co-Operative Bank Limited today issued a public notice informing that some miscreants are allegedly collecting money from the public in the name of the bank in the Chumukedima area. A notice issued by the Public Grievance Officer informed that the miscreants are collecting money by issuing forged receipt. The matter was brought to the notice of Branch Manager of Chumukedima Branch of the Bank on November 7, it informed. The notice further stated that an FIR was immediately lodged by the bank with Diphuphar Police Station and the matter is under investigation. It asked the public not to entertain such payment in the name of the bank, but to assist the police in apprehending the culprits.
