Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) in collaboration with CHILDLINE Dimapur is organizing one day state level consultation programme on ‘Role of schools in child protection’ on June 24, 10:30 am at Holy Cross Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur auditorium. The keynote address will be delivered by Kesonyu Yhome, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur and Chairperson, CHILDLINE Advisory Board, Dimapur.
Esther K. Aye, Legal Aid Counsel and Trainer, Nagaland Legal Services Authority will speak on ‘Child Protection and Child Rights’, Dr. Zavise Rume, Associate Professor & Nodal Officer, Guidance & Counselling Cell, SCERT Nagaland will speak on ‘Importance of Counselling Services in the Schools’, while K. Ela, Collab Director CHILDLINE/Prodigals’ Home, Dimapur will dwell on ‘Role of Schools and Child Protection Policy’.
The facilitator for the programme will be Moang Jamir, Assistant Director, Prodigals’ Home.
