The district magistrate of West Garo Hills, Ram Singh today passed an order thereby enforcing the containment measures in the district from November 1-8 and the timings will be from 5 am to 5 pm with the same restricted and permitted activities as in the earlier order.
The order stated that all shops in the district will now open from Monday to Saturday till 9 pm and the private transports are allowed to ply with 100 per cent capacity.
It also stated that the state and central government offices will now function with 100 per cent staff from 10 am to 5 pm.
The COVID-19 induced curfew in the district will continue to remain from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am.
