CHÜMOUKEDIMA, DECEMBER 30 (MExN): Nagaland resumed their batting on Day 2 and managed to add 23 runs to their overnight score to finish their 1st inning at the score of 275 runs. Meghalaya’s start was also similar to that of Nagaland as they also lost early wickets.
Meghalaya lost 4 early wickets at the score of 68 before Avinash (52 runs), Kishlay (21 runs) and Shavian’s unbeaten knock of 58 runs steadied the inning and helped the team finish the day at 202/6 trailing Nagaland by only 73 runs. For Nagaland Rajesh Das took 3 wickets. Nagaland team’s sloppy fielding during the afternoon session where they dropped 6 catches let Meghalaya team come back into the game.
