Kohima, September 30 (MExN): In view of the upcoming Dr T Ao Trophy (25th Inter-District Football Championship 2026), a team from the Nagaland Football Association (NFA) led by vice president Meyisanger Lemtur and joint secretary Chenonlo Woch held a coordination meeting with the host district organising teams at the Renpo Lu Sports Complex Ungma, Mokokchung on September 29.
The meeting was attended by members of the NFA Media & District Affairs Committee (MDAC), Mokokchung District Football Association, tournament media committee, ground management committee, event managers EventWeave, and team members from 14’17 Media and CTRL Studio.
NFA joint secretary Chenonlo Woch, who is also the chairman of the NFA-MDAC, explained the role of each team and how they would all be required to work in tandem with one another to make the ensuing historic 25th edition of the Dr. T Ao Trophy Inter-District Football Championship a grand success.
Delineation of responsibilities and specific work distribution were chalked out during the meeting.
The tournament is being organised by the NFA and hosted by the Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA), starting from October 13.
Teams from all 17 districts of Nagaland will vie for the prestigious championship title.
