Dimapur, June 18 (MExN): The first coordination meeting for the upcoming 3rd XChange Northeast Youth NGO Summit 2018 was held on June 16 at conference hall of Dimapur Tourist Lodge. The meeting was attended by youth led NGOs from Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and Meghalaya.
The 3rd edition of the Summit will be held in Aizawl, Mizoram in the month of October, hosted by three Mizoram based youth led NGOs – FLAT, Dignity Foundation, and Grace Foundation, informed a press release from CAN Youth secretary, Zhove Lohe.
An initiative of CAN Youth, an NGO based in Dimapur, XChange Northeast Youth NGO Summit provides a platform and networking to the NGOs led by youth of North East Region to discuss issues related to North East Region. It also aims to bring organizations and agencies from outside North East to see the possibility of working together in the region.
The first edition of the Summit was held in Dimapur in 2016, followed by Shillong in 2017.
