Mokokchung, June 9 (DIPR): The Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police Level Border Meeting of Assam comprising Jorhat and Sivasagar districts and Mokokchung district of Nagaland will be held on June 10 at Mokokchung town in the DC’s Conference Hall. The first DCs and SPs meeting which was held on September 6, 2010 at Jorhat unanimously decided to have this meeting quarterly. However the meeting could not be held due to election, census and other engagement. This coordination meeting is basically for coordination, maintenance of border peace and confidence building among the district of Assam and Nagaland basing on the age-old tradition of friendship between the two States. The official team from Jorhat and Sivasagar will be represented by their respective DCs, SPs, BM, DFO and Administrative Officers.
