KOHIMA, MAY 9 (MExN): The Core Committee of the Parliamentary Committee on the Naga political issue has been revised on May 9. A notice issued by the Home Department informed that the committee will be led by Convenor Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, with Deputy CM Y Patton and UDA Chairperson, TR Zeliang as Co Convenors and Minister Neiba Kronu as Member Secretary.
The members of the core committee include the two Members of Parilaments Tokheho Yepthomi (Lok Sabha) and S Phangnon Konyak (Rajya Sabha). Members from the NDPP who are in the core committee are Ministers G Kaito Aye, YM Yollow, Metsubo Jamir; Advisors Noke Wangnao, H Chuba Chang, R Khing; MLAs Imkong L Imchen, Yitachu, Chotisuh Sazo and Muthingnyuba Sangtam. The BJP members are Ministers P Pangnyu Phom, P Paiwang Konyak, Jacob Zhimomi; Advisors Mmhonlumo Kikon and H Haiying. Four members from the NPF include MLAs Kuzholuzo Neinu, Dr Nganshi K Ao, Kezhienyi Khalo and Khriehu Liezietsu. Meanwhile, Independent Minister Tongpang Ozukum is also part of the committee.
