The 15 years anniversary concert of Cotton Country band will take place on July 20 at 6:00 PM at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma.
This was announced during a press conference here on July 17.
The line-up of Cotton Country for the concert includes; Kennedy-C (Guitar lead, Adi Sekhose (Bass), Kekhrie Dzüvichü (Drums), Imti (Tim) Z Lee (Rhythym vocal) and Senti Johny (Vocal). The concert will also feature Dziesekhrienuo, Kekhrie Ringa, Seyievinuo and Desert King (DK) as guest appearance.
Ticket, amounting to Rs. 100, will be made available at the venue.
DK Senti Longchar said that Cotton Country was formed in 2004. It does rock, country, blues, Hindi and Pop and have been performing at the various events and platforms both within and outside the state.
Cotton Country founding member Senti Semy acknowledged everyone for acceptance of their music journey over the last 15 years and looks forward similar support and blessings in the coming days as well.
“We are very much humble and touch by the acceptance given by the people,” he said.
Further, Semy said that Cotton Country will be coming up with cover album soon to commemorate 15 years journey of the band.
It will be released via Toutube, he added.
Meanwhile, he conveyed deep appreciation to patron Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, advisor rural development, Gugs Chishi, former project director Music Task Force, Alemtemshi Jamir, former chief secretary, Dr. Kevi Rio, Virlie Mepfhiio and TT Angami for their unflinching support to the band over the last 15 years.
He also acknowledged Dr. Hovithal Sothu, project director Music Task Force for coming forward to sponsor this 15 years anniversary concert.
