Courteney Cox thinks David Arquette looks the “best he’s ever looked”. The 46-year-old actress — who announced last October she and the actor were undergoing a trial separation after 11 years of marriage — is proud that her estranged husband recently received treatment in rehab for “alcohol and other issues” and can’t believe the transformation in him.
“Oh my God, I’m so proud of him,” she said. “Best he’s ever looked! He’s so cute that I’m like, ‘Dude, I don’t understand. Really?! Why are you that cute right now?’ ”
Courteney also revealed she and 39-year-old David — with who she has six-year-old daughter Coco — are able to get along better than ever, though she admits it is “weird” to be in a position of having to analyze their relationship. “Our communication and the way we are, just learning about each other in a different way, it’s smart,” she said. “It’s weird to be at this age and look at ourselves but it’s hard and it’s important and I’m glad we are, so I love him.”
Meanwhile, David — who stars opposite Courteney in forthcoming horror sequel Scream 4 — says the pair are “working on” themselves in a bid to repair their damaged relationship. “We’re separated, we’re working on ourselves and our relationship, and sort of figuring out what we want. You know, life’s complicated and people go through changes,” he said.
