COVID-19: Nagaland cases cross 100 mark

Nagaland’s active COVID-19 count rose to 107 after 13 new cases were reported on Saturday morning. 

 


‘13 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours out of 252 samples tested. All the samples tested were from Chennai Returnees,’ updated Health and Family Welfare Minister, Nagaland S Pangnyu on Twitter. 

 


According to the State Health Department, all the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and most cases are either asymptomatic or mild symptoms.

 


Out of 107 patients, 102 are in 18-44 age group, while the rest  are 17 years or below, as per the Nagaland COVID-19 Dashboard.

 

There are 75 males and 32 females among the 107 active cases.
