State Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio on Tuesday visited the COVID-19 designated hospital in Dimapur and also simultaneously launched a total of 10 ambulances for government hospitals in various district headquarters.

 

“Dedicated 10 ambulances at COVID-19 hospital Dimapur,” Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio  tweeted on Tuesday, after a visit to the hospital.  

 

The ambulances were procured by the state government, he said.

 

Rio also inspected wards, toilets, newly installed 500kVA transformer and 125kVA generator during the visit.

 

He also informed that he also met with colleagues and government officials at the Conference Hall of Commissioner of Police, Dimapur.

 

Meanwhile, State’s Health & Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom also took to Twitter to share that the 10 ambulances purchased by the department have reached Dimapur.

 

“The Ambulance will be distributed immediately to cater to the need of the District to combat the Pandemic.”
