COVID-19: Nagaland registers 9 more recoveries

Nagaland reported 9 more recoveries from COVID-19 on July 11 taking the total number of recoveries from 304 in the morning to 313 in the evening. 


 “9 more COVID-19 Patients have recovered from Tuensang Covid-19 Care Centre. However, they will be kept under strict surveillance,” updated State Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom on Twitter at 3: 31 PM.


However, the Minister also informed in the tweet that 5 more positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed from Tuensang. 


This took the total number of cases on July 11 from 743 in the morning to 748 in the evening. 


Total State’s COVID-19 status, as per the latest update on July 11, thus stood at:  Positive: 748; Active: 435; and Recovered: 313.


Meanwhile, out of eleven districts in Nagaland, 9 have reported confirmed COVID-19 cases so far.  Wokha district, ‘immune’ to the virus so far, reported its first case on Friday. With this, only Longleng and Kiphire are yet to record any COVID-19 positive case in Nagaland. 


Information on Nagaland COVID-19 Dashboard stated that out of 748 cases, there were 561 males and 187 females.


Age-wise, 715 cases are in the 18-44 years age group while there were 16 each in the 0-17 and 45 - 64 years age bracket. There was a single case in the 65-74 years age group.
