COVID-19 sensitisation prog held in Akuluto

ZUNHEBOTO, MAY 19 (MExN): A sensitization cum awareness programme on COVID-19 was held on at the ADC’s office in Akuluto on May 19.

Dr. Khrievilhou, Medical Officer in charge of VK PHC highlighted about the activities and preparedness carried out in the block.

Dr Akaho Sema, Deputy CMO, Zunheboto, informed the public not to panic but to take precautions seriously so that we can be safe from the virus. He briefed the participants to stay home and stay safe. He also highlighted the participants and talked about contact tracing and sample transportation, risk communication and social stigma.

Dr Akaho further highlighted about containment zone and dead body management.

Dr. Shikatoli, MO, SHP spoke on preventive measures and the protocols to be followed in quarantine centers.

The sensitization programme was attended the by ADC, EAC, Medical fraternity, vertical departments, GB's and student leaders.
