COVID response model launched in Aboi

ABOI, SEPTEMBER 10 (MExN): A COVID Adaptive Response Care Model was launched in Aboi town on September 7 at the conference hall. The move was initiated to help the people of Aboi town along with other sub-divisions in Mon District in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, informed a press release from the Konyak Union (KU) Aboi President, Pangao Konyak and General Secretary, Phongnyei Changkhu.

This model aims to train on safety protocols, necessary behavioural changes, changes in thought and to adapt with the situation prevalent with readiness equipped with available human resources. The Konyak Union (KU) Aboi felt that this care can go a long way in keeping people away from novel viruses which otherwise would affect many people of the sub-division.

Three clusters—Aboi, Chen and Chingkao were trained after formally launching the programme. The launching programme was chaired by Phongnyei Changkhu, General Secretary, KU Aboi; invocation was said by Mongnyei, Pastor, Police Fellowship Aboi; and keynote address was delivered by Wango Konyak, General Secretary, KU Hq Mon. 

Short Speeches were delivered by Lithrela Sangtam (NCS), EAC, Aboi and Pangao Konyak, President, KU, Aboi.

Training dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Rev Yeangphong, Pastor, ATBC. The master trainers were Changke and Phelem.
