
Chümoukedima, May 14 (MExN): The Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) conducted a coordination meet for all Angami officers serving in various government departments under Chakhroma region of Dimapur, Chümoukedima and Niuland districts on May 13 at CPO Hall Chümoukedima.
Speaking at the meet as guest speaker, Kuolachalie Seyie, President, Naga Club, advised the gathering that "we must revive and practice good traditional Tenyimi values in order to heal our people and our land". He remarked that the forefathers had unmatched honesty, integrity, courage, truthfulness, faith, simplicity and frankness, hardworking culture, warm hospitality, etc. which are gradually being forgotten by the younger generation. "It is time we return to our roots", said Seyie who added that "we must search for meaning in life together and survive together" in a better tomorrow.
Others who spoke during the meet included Razouvotuo Chatsu, President, APO; Kevithuto Sophie, Commissioner of Police; Dr. Kelesekho Tsükrü, President, Chakhroma Gazzetted Officers Krotho (CGOK).besides other officials.
The program was chaired by Zhato Kimho, President, CPO, while Rev. Lhouzoviu Shüya pronounced the invocation and Neikhriehu Kense, V. President, CPO, shared the welcome address. Womenfolk from Tenyiphe Village rendered a Tati presentation and Kelhouwhetuo Senotsu, Social & Cultural Secretary, CPO, delivered the vote of thanks.
