
Kohima, September 27 (MExN): The Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) has welcomed that the Public Action Committee (PAC) for their action against ‘illegal’ collections.
CPO President, Mikha Kenye and General Secretary, Veduvo Rakho in a press release extended its support to the PAC for under taking a “yeoman service” with a mission “Operation check gate” “to end all those illegal collections which are hovering in our commercial hub affecting every commodity that we consume.”
“Certainly this will reverberate throughout the state, which must bring to a halt. We firmly hold that the state government will listen and fulfill to the demand consign by PAC,” it said.
The CPO also held that the Organization “stands firm" on its commitment that the 2 (two) Lane Project in Phek district be completed at any cost within a stipulated period and CPO will up hold the resolution No.3 and No.4 approved on June 29 2019 in the extended executive meeting, it added.
Meanwhile, the Organization also appreciated the “magnanimous” decision taken by the Thenyizumi Village in lifting the ban for posterity and development and further assured that the CPO “will extend every available effort to pursue the rightful claims of the genuine victims and to maintain cooperation with all the agencies.”
