Day two of the ongoing eye check-up camp on August 20 at Phek town registered positive response. This camp, organised by Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) in collaboration with US based VisionSpring Foundation, will cover the entire villages under CPO jurisdiction, according to CPO general secretary Chepetso Koza.
VisionSpring, do eye-screening for the poor people, provides primary eye-care services and eye-health advice. VisionSpring also provides eye glass for a nominal cost of Rs 80.

Schedule for eye check-up camp at Phek area: Bible Hill & Jericho 1- August 21, Jericho II- August 22, Bethany I- August 23, Hebron II, Satheri, Tuzatsu- August 24, Bethel, Kizari- August 26, Hebron I- August 27, Mission Compound, Kutisu- August 28, Bethany II, Surhoba- August 29, New Ward, Sohomi, Suthotsu, K. Khuno, Tehephu- August 30, Khuza, Chepoketa, Miitsale (Centre Khuza)- August 31, Upper Kho, Middle Kho, Lower Kho (Centre Middle Khomi)- September 2, Losami, Losatephe (Centre Losami)- September 3, Phek Village, Phek Basa, Chosaba (Centre Phek Village)- September 4, 15 Lozaphuhu, Lanezho (Centre Lozaphuhu)- September- 5, Kutsapo- September 6.
CPO informed that the eye check-up camp schedule for Chozuba and Pfutsero area will be announced soon.
