Chumukedima, February 2 (MExN): The Chakhroma Public Organization (CPO) today stated that it is resolute to stand in support of JCC resolution adopted on February 1. It was stated in a press release issued by CPO President, Khrielieviu Khro and Information and Publicity (Incharge) Vichutolie Mere. The CPO has also vehemently condemned the brutal act of the State Government, where the security personnel fired rounds, resulting in the death of two youth- Khriesavizo Metha, and Bendangnungsang, both from Diphupar Village and inflicting injuries to several persons in Dimapur as well as Longleng. The CPO further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and also prayed that the departed souls rest in eternal peace. Moreover, the Organization also wished speedy recovery of the injured persons undergoing medical treatment.
