Dimapur, June 11 (MExN): A joint meeting of the Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO), Western Sümi Hoho (WSH) and Joint Co-ordination Committee of Villages (JCCV) Dhansiripar was held on June 11 at Thahekhu Village to discuss issues arising out of the reorganisation of Dimapur district.
According to a joint press release received here on Saturday, the meeting deliberated on the ‘JCCV Dhansiripar demands’ and the State Government’s June 3 notification on the Inter-District boundary between Peren and Chümoukedima, and made a few resolutions.
Among others, the release stated that the house resolved to “To accept and stand at the Government notification dated December 20, 2021 on Chümoukedima District Administrative Jurisdiction,” and to support the JCCV Dhansiripar’s demands submitted to the Government. The house further resolved to respect existing village boundaries under Dhansiripar sub-division, stated the release which was appended by CPO President Vichütuolie Mere; WSH President Shikaho Jimo; JCCV Convenor LK Swu; JCCV Co-convenor Tsithrongse Sangtam; and DPON President K Naben.
