Mokokchung, October 28 (DIPR): In accordance with the standing order on the ban on sale and using fire crackers in the vicinity of Mokokchung Municipality, the District Administration Mokokchung has issued an order banning the sale and use of fire crackers with immediate effect till further order. It mentioned that certain sections of the public are not adhering to the total ban order which not only pollutes the environment but also creates public nuisance and unwanted situation. It cautioned that defaulters would be punished in accordance with the law.
