Craft awareness programme in Kohima concludes

Kohima, April 6 (MExN): Two-day ‘Craft Awareness Programme – CAP’ under Marketing Support and Services Scheme was held at Lerie Colony, Kohima on March 30 and 31. The programme was sponsored by the office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and organized by Nagaland Women Vocational Training Institute.

The programme was attended by Women SHG Artisans from Kohima and Dimapur. It was inaugurated by Rajib Chandra Roy, Handicraft Promotion Officer, HSC, Kohima. He highlighted on various schemes under DC (Handicrafts). 

The resource persons highlighted on various topics like Livelihood through crafts, importance of design in crafts, creation of refine design for export quality etc. They also showed live demonstration on various crafts.
