CRPF officials participate in the ‘Virtual Run under Fit India Movement’ at 78 BN, CRPF headquarter.

Kohima, September 10 (MExN): Randeep Datta, PMG, Inspector General of Police, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector along with DIG (Operations) CRPF Kohima visited 78 Bn, CRPF Headquarter at Sechu (Zubza), Kohima and other CRPF establishments to review the overall security situation in Nagaland on September 9. “During the visit, he held several security meetings with other security agencies in Kohima as well with CRPF officials of 78 BN, CRPF,” informed a press release from 78 BN, CRPF.
Also during the visit, Surender Singh, Commandant-78 BN, CRPF briefed on the preparedness of CRPF in performance of their assigned duties in Nagaland. The IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector expressed his satisfaction on the commitment and preparedness of CRPF in the State and complimented the troops for their sustained hard work, professionalism and devotion to duty.
Later, the IGP played a volleyball match with the officers and Jawans of 78 BN, CRPF and distributed prizes to all the participants.
Further, as part of the nationwide movement to encourage people to remain healthy and fit by inculcating physical activities and sports in daily lives, the IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector also took part in ‘Virtual Run under Fit India Movement’ at 78 BN, CRPF headquarter along with the Jawans and their family members.
