CRUH Dimapur conducts Homeopathy seminar

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 28 (MExN): The Clinical Research Unit for Homoeopathy (CRUH), Dimapur under Central council for research in Homoeopathy, Ministry of Ayush organised a two day National Continuing Medical Education (CME) Programme on ‘Scope of Homoeopathy in the Life style disorders’ on February 21 and 22. The programme was held at conference hall of Nagaland Tourism, Tourist lodge, Dimapur.
The Programme was inaugurated by Guest of honour, Dr K Vikhato Kinimi, Joint Director, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Kohima. He stated that the two day event aimed to enlighten the masses on scope of Homoeopathy in lifestyle disorders.
Chief guest, Dr. Pangjung Sangtam, CMO, Dimapur District hospital; and Dr. Antoli Suu, Deputy CMO of District Hospital Dimapur were also present. Dr P Srinivas, officer incharge, RARC Dimapur was present as a guest.
The resource persons included Dr. Raj Pal, scientist-4,CCRH; Dr. Abhijeet Chattopadhyay, Prof. NIH, Kolkata; Dr. Himangsu Hait, Prof & HOD, Practice of Medicine, CHMC&H, Kolkata; Dr. Austin Jose, RMO, NIH, Kolkata; Dr. Nokchur Imchen, CIHSR, Dimapur; Dr. T Bendangtula, Asst Director, AYUSH, Directorate of H&FW, Kohima; Dr. C Tetseo, Nodal officer NTCP, Directorate of H&F W, Kohima; and Dr. Prabin Kumar Shaw RO(H)/S-1 , CRU(H), Dimapur.
Presentations were delivered on lifestyle disorders like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, smokeless tobacco addiction etc. Over view of activities & achievements of the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy were also discussed. Dr T Bendangtula, Assistant Director, AYUSH, Directorate of H&FW, Kohima appealed the trainees to gather all the valuable knowledge from the CME Programme. Certificates were distributed in the valedictory session followed by vote of thanks by Dr. Prabin Kr Shaw, I/C CRU(H), Dimapur.
