Kohima, February 12 (DIPR): Nagaland State Chief Secretary, Lalthara IAS was enumerated on February 12 at his official residence, Kohima in the presence of Charge officer, Kovi Meyase; Additional Charge Officer Neilezo Tep, Census Nodal officer, Enumerators and Supervisors.
Giving a statement on the ongoing Census 2011, the Chief Secretary stressed on the importance of accurate census and appealed everyone to give accurate information. He said that the ongoing Census operation 2011is being taken very seriously by the Census Department as well as the Government of Nagaland as the last Census 2001 was inaccurate, he therefore calls everyone to be collectively responsible and count oneself accurately to have a meaningful planning for development in future. The Chief Secretary also expressed his happiness that the NGOs are associating themselves in the Civil Society Monitoring Group and congratulated all the people involved in Census Operation for their works so far and further hoped that this time Nagaland will have an acceptable accurate Census.
