Kohima, Jan 13 (DIPR): Chief Secretary P Talitemjen Ao expressed strong displeasure over the officers and staff of many Departments still not reporting for duties after a long Christmas 2005 and New Year 2006 holidays. The Chief Secretary stated that the office hours of Nagaland Government wef 2-1-2006 are 9:00 Am to 4:00 PM with all Saturdays declared as holidays. Non attendance of officers and staff in the Government office is seriously hampering official works in the interest of the public. All officers and staff of the Nagaland Government have been directed to report for their duties in all Government offices immediately. Further, all Secretaries and Directors have been asked to take attendance of their respective Departments/offices and submit status report to the Chief Secretary latest by the afternoon of 16-1-2006.
