Kohima, June 27 (MExN): Catholic Sunday School Kohima village organized the 14th Summer Camp at Christ King Jubilee Hall Kohima Village from June 24 to 27 with theme ‘One Bread, One Body’.
During the camp various activities like Zumba time, Creative Recycle, Sessions, Rosary, Holy Eucharist, Trekking and Summer Nite were conducted. During Zumba time, various exercises were performed to keep the body healthy and fit. In recycle active session the campers were taught how to reuse the disposal plates and mineral water bottle into useful way of keeping cards holder or mobile holder.
During the first session, Fr. Anand sj spoke on ‘The purpose of life on this earth’ and in second sessions Fr. Victor sj spoke on ‘The important of Holy Eucharist’, Rosary Prayer were recited in devotion to Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Sunday Holy Eucharist was presided by Fr. Linus Sdb, Principal Christ King Higher Secondary School Kohima. To create awareness to love the nature and to promote the civic senses trekking session was conducted, during Summer Nite children were expose their talents and gifts through songs, dances and recitation of Bible. During the camp the children were divided into four groups and competition on various categories were also conducted. Among the campers Chathasezo Charles and Neilaphrenuo Lydia were declared as Best Campers 2016.
