Phek, May 14 (MExN): The Chakhesang Students Union (CSU) convened its first union assembly for the tenure 2024-2026 on May 11 last Mesulumi village in Phek district.
50 affiliated units and subordinate bodies of the CSU attended the union assembly.
The Union Assembly discussed on key agendas like; strict implementation of the Inner Line Permit and the monitoring of proxy teachers and irregular employees among the others.
The outgoing CSU Union Assembly organ, led by speaker Weneizo Mero, gracefully passed the torch to the incoming Assembly organ headed by speaker Rokovi Movi.
Meanwhile, the CSU extended its heartfelt appreciation to Mesulumi Students’ Union for their exemplary hosting and extended its best wishes to the newly elected leadership as they embark on their tenure with zeal and determination.
The new team of CSU for the tenure 2024- 26 is led by Pfulo Sara as the president.
