Dimapur, July 25 (MExN): The Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC) has informed all concerned that the Council has adopted a resolution for “declaration of Chümoukedima Town Council Area as Open Defecation- Free (ODF).”
“In this regard, any claims & objection, if any, maybe submitted in written to Thejavizo Nakhro, Extra Assistant Commissioner(EAC) cum Administrator within 15(Fifteen) days from the date of issue of this notice i.e. July 25,” informed a press release issued by the EAC cum Administrator, CTC. The council also cautioned the general public within the jurisdiction of the CTC that “any person found defecating in the open, shall be penalized with a fine of Rs 100.”
