CTYO, CVYS, NCVYO caution excommunicated candidates

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 20 (MExN): The Chumukedima Town Youth Organization (CTYO), Chumukedima Village Youth Society (CVYS) and New Chumukedima Village Youth Organization (NCVYO) have cautioned ex-communicated members of any tribe not to re-locate to their area. A joint statement from the three organisations expressed its firm stand on the directives of the Angami Youth Organization, and that “any defaulters detected shall be dealt with as per customary law of the land.” It also cautioned house owners not to harbour any such persons who has been ex-communicated by his/her own tribe for not adhering to the call of their apex tribal leaders, and that any person found going against the warning “shall be doing so at his/her own risk, as the youth shall not be held responsible for any untoward incidence thereof.” The youth organisations also appealed to all citizens of Chumukedima to “adhere to this warning.”
