Dimapur, August 21 (MExN): Cornerstone Higher Secondary School (CSHSS), Dimapur observed Cultural Day on August 20 with the theme “Your culture is your brand.” It was co-organised by the Cultural Club and Music Club of the school.
The programme was hosted by Victoria and Longtsu Ovung of class XI. Nokpuchemla of Cultural Club delivered the welcome speech, while Principal of the school, Sentisangla Imsong delivered the exhortation.
The show opened with a folk dance by the Cultural Club. It was followed by the main event of the show - folk dance competition among the four houses (Red, Yellow, Green, Blue), which was won by the Red house. Thereafter, the audience was charmed by mesmerising Nepali dance. The programme also had a modern and traditional ethnic show by class VII and VIII.
