Morung Express News Dimapur |December 18 The 5-day Dimapur Night Carnival at Naga Shopping Arcade jointly organized by the district administration, DCCI, BAN and EDBA culminated with Advisor, Urban Development, SI Jamir as the special guest. Addressing the crowd, Jamir lauded the organizers for taking all pain and sacrificing to let the people come out and have quality time. “Once we all come together, we should think for our society and if we do something good for the Dimapur, then the town will go forward,” he said. He appealed to the people to all come together and make the DNC more colorful, enjoyable and fascinating. He also picked lottery number 002349 as the winner of the Nissan Datsun Go. Stall No. 46 (C) Thatch House belonging to Temshilong Sanglir was adjudged the best stall and was award Rs. 15,000 along with citation. Stall No – 30, 31, 32 (A) belonging to Inner Wheel Club Dimapur, and Stall No – 45 (E) Funbooth, owned by Atsen Murry, claimed second and third respectively. The second prize winner earned Rs. 10,000 while Funbooth won Rs. 5,000. On the last day of the carnival, thousands of people thronged the venue with friend and family.
